EVALUASI DALAM PENDIDIKAN ISLAM: TINJAUAN TAFSIR DAN HADITS TARBAWI

Abstract Evaluation in education is a crucial aspect for measuring the success of the learning process. In the context of Islamic education, evaluation is not only interpreted as a literal assessment, but also encompasses the concept of tests or trials with spiritual and moral dimensions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of evaluation in Islamic education based on the interpretation of the Qur'an and the hadith of tarbawi. The method used is textual analysis of Qur'anic verses (e.g., Surah Al-Ankabut/29:2-3, Surah Al-Baqarah/2:155, Surah An-Naml/27:40), as well as related hadiths that discuss cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Furthermore, the quality of the exams was evaluated. The results show that evaluation in Islamic education encompasses a comprehensive assessment of faith, patience, and good deeds, all of which are forms of testing from Allah SWT. These findings indicate that evaluation serves not only as a tool for measuring learning achievement but also as a means of self-purification and improving the quality of a Muslim's faith. Abstrak Evaluasi dalam pendidikan merupakan aspek krusial untuk mengukur keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Dalam konteks Pendidikan Islam, evaluasi tidak hanya diartikan sebagai penilaian harfiah, tetapi juga mencakup konsep ujian atau cobaan yang memiliki dimensi spiritual dan moral. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengertian evaluasi dalam pendidikan Islam berdasarkan tafsir Al-Qur'an dan hadits tarbawi. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis teks dari ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an (misalnya, QS. Al-Ankabut/29: 2-3, QS. Al-Baqarah/2: 155, QS. An-Naml/27: 40), serta hadits-hadits terkait yang membahas aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Selain itu, kualitas ujian dievaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi dalam Pendidikan Islam mencakup penilaian komprehensif terhadap iman, kesabaran, dan amal perbuatan, yang semuanya merupakan bentuk ujian dari Allah SWT. Penemuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa evaluasi tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat ukur capaian belajar, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pemurnian diri dan peningkatan kualitas keimanan seorang Muslim.
