This study aims to analyze the role of parents in supporting children’s school readiness during the transition from early childhood education (PAUD) to primary school. School readiness is a multidimensional construct that includes children’s social-emotional maturity, language and cognitive development, motor and self-care abilities, as well as their capacity to engage within the learning environment. However, several misconceptions remain prevalent in society, such as assuming that age and early literacy-numeracy skills are the main indicators of school readiness. This study employs a literature review method by examining recent empirical findings, national policies on PAUD–primary school transition, and theoretical frameworks related to parental involvement in early childhood education. The analysis indicates that parental engagement across five foundational domains—spiritual and moral development, social and language competence, emotional maturity, cognitive readiness, and motor and self-care skills—is crucial in helping children adapt effectively to primary school settings. Parents play an essential role in providing stimulation, establishing routines, offering emotional support, and fostering moral values and independence during the early years of schooling. The findings highlight the importance of strengthening parents’ understanding of holistic school readiness and promoting collaboration among families, schools, and educational policies to support a smooth PAUD–SD/MI transition.
Ainun MahfuzahSalhah

This study aims to analyze the difficulties faced by students of the Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education (PGMI) Study Program at STAI Al Falah Banjarbaru in developing Indonesian Language Lesson Plans (RPP) that comply with the principles of differentiated instruction within the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, RPP document analysis, and observation of lecture activities. The results indicate that students encountered difficulties in understanding the concept of differentiated instruction, determining students' learning needs, and connecting differentiation with learning objectives and assessment. The contributing factors to these difficulties include minimal field practice experience, a lack of pedagogical literacy regarding the Merdeka Curriculum, and limited guidance in RPP preparation. This study recommends the necessity of enhancing training and implementing Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in lectures to improve the readiness of students as prospective professional teachers.
Hayatul Mursyida

This study aims to describe the role of the school literacy program in increasing student reading interest at MI Miftahussholihin Martapura, stemming from the low reading interest among elementary students. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation from the principal, teachers, and students (purposive sampling), and then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The research findings indicate that the school literacy program plays a significant role in increasing student reading interest through reading habituation, provision of engaging literacy facilities, and full support from the school community. Although constraints such as limited reading collections and insufficient parental assistance at home were encountered, the study concludes by emphasizing the importance of continuous collaboration for the program's success.
Husnul HatimahAhmad Mahfuz

The objective of this research was to find out what effect Scouting's extracurricular activities have on the spirits of MIN 3 East Barito fifth graders. This research was conducted using the quantitative descriptive approach. All pupils who took part in Scouting activities, particularly those in grades four, five, and six, made up the population of this research. The research used a random sampling technique to choose its sample of 34 fifth graders, 17 of whom were male and 17 female, split evenly between the Va and Vb study groups. Methods for gathering information included interviews, observation sheets, and questionnaires. This study's data analysis approach includes tests for linearity and basic regression hypothesis testing, as well as the study's outcomes. The study's findings on Scouting's extracurricular activity participation showed that 24 pupils were rated as very excellent and that 10 students, or 29.41%, were rated as good. One student was deemed to have low character, accounting for 64.70% of the total, out of a total of 70.58%. The study suggests that there is a link between the Scout extracurricular activity variable and the character of fifth graders, as indicated by the deviation from linearity achieved at a sig value of 0.560, which is more than 0.05. A substantial association between the two variables is shown by the results of the hypothesis test, which has a significant value of 0.003 <0.05. The results indicate that the Scout extracurricular activity variable (X) has a 24.5 percent effect on the development of student character (Y) at MIN 3 East Barito. This concludes that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
Azkia MaulidaMuhammad JulkifliDiana Diana

This study aims to examine the etiquette of social interaction (adab) with fellow beings, specifically in the context of friendship, as contained in the book Bidayatul Hidayah by Imam Al-Ghazali, and to analyze its relevance in efforts to prevent bullying in the school environment. Furthermore, this research explores the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing these etiquettes within students' social lives. This research employs a qualitative approach with a library research method, where the primary data is obtained from the book Bidayatul Hidayah. It is supported by classical literature such as Adab al-Mufrad, Taisir al-Khallaq, and Washaya al-Abaa lil Abna’i, as well as contemporary references such as the books Anti Bullying: Pendekatan Psikologis (Anti-Bullying: A Psychological Approach) and Melawan Bullying (Against Bullying). The analysis is conducted descriptively and critically using content analysis techniques based on the themes of etiquette and bullying prevention. The results show that social etiquettes, such as guarding one’s speech, avoiding hurting friends, honesty in heart and deed, and not spreading others' flaws, have a positive impact on creating a harmonious social environment free from bullying. The implementation of these etiquettes is supported by religious education, the roles of teachers and parents, and an Islamic school culture. Meanwhile, the obstacles include students' lack of understanding of adab, the influence of social media, and an unsupportive school environment. Thus, the etiquettes found in classical texts can serve as a foundation to strengthen character education and prevent bullying in schools sustainably.
Siti RahmawatiAhmad Kusyairi
